DMZ reduces production of coke amid war

Ukraine's Dneprovskiy Steel Mill, part of DCH Group, has decreased blast furnace coke production in January-June amid the ongoing Russian invasion into Ukraine. The plant produced 116,900 tonnes, down by 51.7% on-year, Kallanish notes. In June alone output amounted to 25,900t compared with 32,300t in June 2021. In the first half of 2022, the enterprise was supplied with 156,000t of domestic coal, about 37,000t from Russia, as well as 3,000t from Poland…
