DMZ ramps up production, quality with upgrade
Ukraine's Dneprovskiy Steel Mill (DMZ, formerly Petrovka), part of DCH Group, has begun the overhaul of coke oven battery No.2, the company says.
During the upgrade, a unique technology will be used - ceramic surfacing, to improve coke quality and reduce environmental impact. During the repair, ceramic surfacing and sealing of heating wall masonry joints will be performed.
