DMZ moves ahead with modernisation, produces less steel
Ukraine's Dneprovskiy steel mill (DMZ, formerly Petrovka) almost halted crude steel output in October, as it embarked on a large-scale upgrade on 5 October. The mill produced 7,000 tonnes of crude steel, almost seven times less than the 47,000t produced in September, Kallanish notes.
