DMZ completes coke battery upgrade
Ukraine's Dneprovskiy Steel Mill (DMZ, formerly Petrovka), part of DCH Group, has completed the overhaul of coke oven battery No.4.
Total investment amounted to UAH 170 million ($6m), Kallanish notes.
DMZ repaired 39 coking chambers at the coking site, replaced the refractory lining, and moved the heating walls.
