Upgrades reduce DMZ steel output, focuses on iron
Ukraine's Dneprovskiy Steel Mill (DMZ, formerly Petrovka), part of DCH Group, produced in January 25,700 tonnes of pig iron, Kallanish notes.
The company focused on pig iron output, with finished steel output minimal due to market conditions, it says.
“In January, the plant produced only coke-chemical products and the shops of the metallurgical site were stopped for repairs,” the enterprise says.
