DMZ decreases August steel, pig iron production
Ukraine's Dneprovskiy Steel Mill (DMZ, formerly Petrovka), part of DCH Group, produced 24,400 tonnes of crude steel in August, down by 11.2% on-year, Kallanish notes.
In July, the plant produced 27,600t of crude steel, up by 27.1% on-year (see Kallanish passim).
Pig iron output in August decreased by 7.7% to 22,100t and production of rolled products was down by 16.5% to 18,500t.
