DMZ continues to ramp up steel production
Ukraine's Dneprovskiy Steel Mill (DMZ, formerly Petrovka), part of DCH Group, increased crude steel production again in August, the company says.
The volume amounted to 28,000 tonnes, up by 20% on-year, Kallanish notes. Pig iron output also increased 20% to 24,000t. In July the company produced 22,000t of steel and 20,000t of pig iron (see Kallanish passim).
