DMZ continues to decrease steel, pig iron production
Ukraine's Dneprovskiy Steel Mill (DMZ, formerly Petrovka), part of DCH Group, produced 15,000 tonnes of crude steel in October, down by 46.5% on-year, Kallanish notes.
In September, the plant produced 14,400t of crude steel, down by 50% on-year (see Kallanish passim).
Pig iron output in October decreased by 33.5% to 16,300t and production of rolled products was down by 51.8% to 11,400t. However, coke production increased by 1.8% to 42,000t.
