Dillinger supports mathematical research on plate cooling process
The department of Numerical Mathematics at Saarland University is carrying out a study on the cooling processes in the manufacture of premium heavy steel plate. It is being supported in its efforts with funding by German heavy plate specialist Dillinger Hüttenwerke. The project is based around developing a mathematical model to optimise the cooling process, Kallanish notes.
