Dillinger supplies 62,000t of plate for offshore windparks
Dillinger Hütte has supplied 62,000 tonnes of heavy plate to two wind parks, in the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, which are now operational.
With 80 wind turbines and an area of 27 km², the EnBW Baltic 2 offshore wind farm located 32 km north of the island of Rügen, Germany, is the largest wind farm in the Baltic Sea, the steelmaker says.
