Dillinger invests heavily in plate for wind power
Dillinger (Dilinger Hütte) has decided on a major investment to expand production of super heavy plate as well as production of wind tower foundations, known as monopiles, Kallanish has learned. The investment amounts to €56.5 million ($65.8.m), to be spent at the company’s main site in Dillingen, Germany, and at its monopiles making subsidiary Steelwind Nordenham.
