Delong Nickel to build steel plant in Indonesia
Major Chinese stainless steelmakers Delong Nickel and Tsingshan Holdings together plan to build a 3.5 million tonnes/year stainless steel plant in eastern Indonesia, according to the Jakarta Post. The plant will be located in the Morowali Industrial Park in Central Sulawesi with an investment of around $950-980 million, mainly focusing on construction steel products, Kallanish notes.
