Danieli upgrade boosts Kroman Celik's EAF performance
Turkish steelmaker Kroman Celik has achieved increased performance and energy savings at its electric arc furnace (EAF) after an upgrade by Danieli, the latter says in a statement monitored by Kallanish.
The upgrade envisaged installation of Danieli's Q-Melt Automatic EAF process control technology and revamp of the chemical injection system to boost EAF productivity and reduce transformation costs, says Danieli.
