Daegu Court quashes Nippon Steel asset seizure appeal
The Daegu Court in South Korea has dismissed the appeal of Japan's Nippon Steel over the seizure of its assets, according to The Korea Herald.
The Daegu District Court's Pohang branch said Monday it had found ''…no reason'' to accept the appeal by Nippon Steel. The case now moves to a higher court of appeal in Daegu, to seek a final decision, Kallanish notes.
