Curtailed supply, improved demand boost coal prices: Fitch
Fitch expects metallurgical coal demand to slowly improve in 2021 as steel production outside China recovers. Additional hard coking coal (HCC) demand in the next five years will come from India, Southeast Asia and Latin America, but consumption may not return to pre-pandemic levels until 2023.
