CSP’s February slab exports rise on-month
Brazilian slab producer Companhia Siderúrgica do Pecém (CSP) saw its exports recover month-on-month in February, according to data issued by the local port authority.
CSP’s February slab exports totalled 226,162 tonnes, up 66.1% compared to the 136,150t in the previous month. Shipments, however, were down by 4.6% versus the corresponding period in 2020, Kallanish notes.
Two-month-through-February exports reached 362,311t, down 23.3% on-year. …
