CSP to start production in June
Brazil’s Companhia Siderurgica do Pecem (CSP) will begin slab production in June, although utilisation rates will remain low initially, according to 20% owner Posco. The plant is also expected to book losses in the initial period, despite higher steel prices, Kallanish notes.
