CSP 2018 slab production to reach 3 million tonnes
Brazilian slab producer Companhia Siderúrgica do Pecém (CSP) is expecting to fulfil its annual target to reach its nominal production capacity of 3mt of steel slabs in 2018, Kallanish learns from the company.
The steelmaker has produced 2,593,451 tonnes year-to-date through mid-November This is 24.6% higher than the volume of 1,956,298t produced during the same period of 2017.
