CSC launches steel plates for offshore wind power
Taiwan’s China Steel Corporation (CSC) has successfully developed and produced steel plates for underwater foundations and towers for offshore wind turbines, Kallanish notes.
Since offshore wind power facilities are located in the ocean, the steel plates used need to withstand greater forces and stronger corrosion. To this end, CSC has launched several products including S355ML, S420ML, S460ML.
