CSC develops steel for high-temperature pressure vessels
Taiwan’s China Steel Corporation (CSC) has developed A387 steel for use in high-temperature pressure vessels, and it has already achieved the first sales in Taiwan, Kallanish notes.
The power generation facilities of gas-fired power plants usually operate at a vapour pressure of 200 times atmospheric pressure and a temperature of about 450 to 600 degrees Celsius for a long time.
