Costlier feedstock drives up UAE rebar prices
United Arab Emirates mills have increased rebar prices for the domestic market due to higher feedstock costs, but demand has not improved, UAE market sources tell Kallanish.
Price-setter Emirates Steel (ESI) raised its price by AED 57/tonne ($15.50) versus August to AED 1,829/t ($498) ex-works for September deliveries.
