Cost pressure drives UAE rebar prices up again
United Arab Emirates mills have increased rebar prices for the domestic market again due to higher feedstock costs, UAE market sources tell Kallanish.
Price-setter Emirates Steel (ESI) raised its price by AED 106/tonne ($29) from September to AED 1,936/t ($527) ex-works for October deliveries. This follows a AED 57/t hike a month earlier.
