Construction starts in the US decline in November
Construction starts in the US have slowed significantly during November, Kallanish learns from an analysis by Dodge Data and Analytics.
Total construction starts fell by 14% in November to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $867.8 billion, with most of the slowdown happening in the non-residential construction sector. Both non-building and non-residential building starts fell during November, by 30% and 21%, respectively, after strong gains in the prior month.
