Brazil's CSP to start slab production in Q2
Brazil’s Companhia Siderurgica do Pecem (CSP) is expected to start slab production in its Pecém Industrial Port Complex (CIPP) in the second quarter of 2016, according to local media reports monitored by Kallanish.
The company, a joint venture between Vale and South Korean firms Dongkuk and Posco, is currently finalising the plant’s construction in São Gonçalo do Amarante, Ceará state, north-eastern Brazil.
