Committee rejects Ahmed Ezz's election candidate application
Egypt's High Elections Committee (HEC) has rejected the application of Ahmed Ezz to stand as a candidate in the upcoming parliamentary elections on the grounds his submitted papers were incomplete, according to local press reports. This represents yet another twist in the tale after the HEC had earlier accepted Ezz’s application.
