Colombia’s August iron ore, steel exports remain stable
Colombian iron ore and steel exports increased month-on-month in August, according to local statistics institute Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística (DANE) data monitored by Kallanish. They were also high year-on-year.
Steel and iron ore exports amounted to 19,111 tonnes, up 24.9% over July and 18.9% higher on-year. The value of these was $61.8 million, 35.4% higher on-year.
