Colombian ore, steel exports slump in October
Colombian iron ore and steel exports fell significantly on-month in October, according to local statistics institute Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística (DANE) data monitored by Kallanish. They were also weak on-year.
Steel and iron ore exports amounted to just 6,317 tonnes, down 78.5% over September and 52.3% lower on-year. The value of these was $16.2 million, compared to $46.7m in October 2020.
