Colombian ferrous exports dip in 2020
Colombian iron ore and steel exports fell in 2020, according to local statistics institute Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística (DANE) data monitored by Kallanish. These were also down in December alone.
During the last month of 2020, Colombian steel and iron ore exports amounted to 15,270 tonnes, down -44.9% on-year. The value of December exports was $56.5 million, -40% lower y-o-y, DANE says.
