Coking coal plunges on Chinese coke price cut
Australian fob coking coal prices tumbled amid Chinese coke price cuts during the week ended 15 March.
Kallanish assessed premium hard coking coal at $265.18/tonne fob Australia, down $33.48/t from $298.66/t fob the previous week.
On the Singapore Exchange, Premium Coking Coal Futures for April settled at $254/t fob on Friday, declining $33/t from the settlement price of $287/t fob a week earlier.
