Cogne Acciai Speciali buys scrap supplier majority stake
Italian stainless long steel producer Cogne Acciai Speciali, a subsidiary of Taiwanese stainless steelmaker Walsin Lihwa, has agreed to acquire 65% of one of its main stainless steel scrap suppliers, Com.Steel Inox. The transaction closing is expected in the coming months, Kallanish notes.
