Cliffs, Essar reach agreement on iron ore pellets
Iron ore supplier Cliffs Natural Resources and steelmaker Essar Steel Algoma have settled their long-running iron ore pellet contract dispute, Kallanish understands.
Under the terms of the settlement, Cliffs will supply an undisclosed quantity of pellets to Essar over the balance of 2016 and then reinstate the companies’ existing contract in 2017.
