Cleveland-Cliffs, UAW sign new labour contract
US steel producer Cleveland-Cliffs and the United Auto Workers Local 3044 have inked a new labour contract covering the union members at the company’s Rockport Works location in Rockport, Indiana.
The three-year contract is retroactive to 1 October and will run through 30 September, 2024. Local 3044 has about 350 members at Rockport, Kallanish notes.
