Cleveland-Cliffs joins US climate tech program
North America’s largest flat-rolled steel producer has inked a deal with the US Department of Energy to join the Better Climate Challenge initiative, Kallanish reports.
As part of the initiative, Cleveland-Cliffs has been challenged to “set ambitious, portfolio-wide GHG (greenhouse gas) emission reduction goals,” the company says in a statement.
