Cleveland-Cliffs beats some GHG emissions reduction targets
According to the Cleveland-Cliffs 2022 Sustainability Report, the company’s scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions fell below its 25% reduction goal, Kallanish learns.
Cleveland-Cliffs released the report on 3 April to demonstrate its corporate progress on environmental, social, governance goals. The company achieved its emission reductions through optimisations in its raw materials strategy and its blast furnace operations, the report notes.
