Cleveland-Cliffs, USW reach agreement
The United Steelworkers and Cleveland-Cliffs have negotiated provisional contract terms regarding work at Cliff’s mining and pelletizing operations in Minnesota and Michigan, learns Kallanish. The USW local factions will vote to ratify the terms.
The contract is scheduled to begin on 1 October, 2022, last 47 months, and impact over 2,000 workers in Minnesota and Michigan facilities.
