CIS steel output decreases slightly on-month in June

CIS crude steel production decreased in June versus May, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish. Regional output amounted to 8.9 million tonnes, up by 9.1% year-on-year. In May production was 9.1mt, up 14.8% y-o-y (see Kallanish passim). January-June CIS crude steel production was also up by 8.7% on-year to 53.3mt.
