CIS steel output declines further in October
CIS crude steel production decreased slightly in October, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish.
Regional output amounted to 8.3 million tonnes, down by 0.2% year-on-year. In September production was 8.2mt, down 1% y-o-y (see Kallanish passim). January-October CIS crude steel production thus rose 5.8% on-year to 87.3mt.
