CIS pipe slump drags down Interpipe 2016 sales
Interpipe has reported a -5% on-year decline in finished product sales in 2016 to 572,000 tonnes. Exports outside Ukraine accounted for 75% of overall sales.
The lower sales were driven by a -10% on-year reduction in pipe sales in 2016 to 458,000t. This was despite domestic sales of this product rising 9% to 118,000t and sales to Europe growing 12% to 124,000t.
