CIS drives Turkey's 2017 seamless pipe imports rise
Turkish seamless pipe imports rose in 2017 as intake from the CIS grew, while procurement from main supplier China fell, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
Full-year seamless pipe import volume went up 9.4% to 275,754 tonnes. The overall average value/tonne of these imports was up to $1,054/t from $1,013/t a year ago.
