CIS 2020 crude steel output increases despite Covid-19
CIS crude steel production increased in December, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish.
Regional output amounted to 8.7 million tonnes, up by 3.1% year-on-year. In 2020 CIS crude steel production increased despite the Covid-19 pandemic by 1.5% on-year to 101.12mt.
Output in December was more than the 8.24mt recorded in November.
