CIS crude steel output decreases further in August
CIS crude steel production continued to decrease in August, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish. Regional output amounted to 7.92 million tonnes, down by -6.2% year-on-year.
In January-August CIS crude steel production was down -4.5% on-year to 65mt.
Output in August was also less than the 8.09mt recorded in July.
