Chinese wire rod exports decline despite currency movement

China's wire rod export prices have weakened this week, with sluggish demand in the Southeast Asian regional market and lower bids hampering deal completion. Kallanish assesses 6.5mm diameter mesh-grade wire rod at $535-540/tonne fob China, down by $5/t from a week earlier.
