Another Chinese steelmaker targets Philippine steelworks
Officials from Jinjiang City of Fujian Province in south-eastern China recently signed a sister city agreement with Davao City in the Philippines. At the same time, the two sides signed agreements on eight international investment projects, one of which involved the construction of a local steel mill with backing from an unnamed Chinese steelmaker from Jinjiang, Kallanish notes.
