Chinese steel mill list prices lack confidence
Chinese steelmakers have announced mixed offers for mid-November construction steel product ex-works price lists, continuing the uncertain trend since the start of November. Restrictions on steel production since mid-October have successfully pushed rebar social inventory down and prices rebounded last week. Mills still lack the confidence however to push through larger price increases.
