Chinese mills increase longs prices
China’s major steelmakers in different regions have all increased their ex-works long product prices for late February following a faster growth in demand than for flats. Spot market longs prices are catching up with mills ex-work prices, and traders say peak demand has still not arrived, Kallanish notes.
