Chinese longs producers maintain late-September offers
Major Chinese longs steel producers such as Shagang, Zenith and Yonggang have announced that they will hold offers in late-September, Kallanish notes.
All three steelmakers have not changed the prices for rebar, high-speed wire rod and rebar in coil for the last ten days of this month. Meanwhile, the steelmakers have mostly kept market shipments steady also. Only Yonggang has increased wire rod and rebar in coil supply by 30%.
