Chinese longs offers slow their decline
Following the slump in Chinese long product ex-work offers over the last month, major eastern Chinese longs producers have targeted more moderate cuts for the second ten days of December. Although three major steelmakers held the offers stable for rebar, Zenith and Yonggang announced they would each cut CNY 50/tonne ($7/t) from high-speed wire rod and rebar in coil offers, Kallanish notes.
