Chinese longs' list prices rise or hold steady
The Chinese rebar market saw further recovery in mid-April. Despite Shagang's unchanged long product prices, Zenith and Yonggang both raised their offers by CNY 50/tonne ($7.09/t), Kallanish notes.
For agents meeting their sales targets for the past ten days, Yonggang and Zenith provided rebates of CNY 70/t and CNY 80/t, respectively. Since Shagang did not lower prices in the last period, it provided higher rebates at CNY 90-170/t.
