Chinese longs offers rise further for early September
After reducing their supply to the market, the three major steel producers in eastern China have raised long steel offers for the first ten days of September, Kallanish notes.
Shagang and Zenith have kept rebar offers stable but Yonggang added CNY 50/tonne ($7.33/t) to its rebar offer. Meanwhile, all three steelmakers announced offer price increases of CNY 20-50/t for high-speed wire rod and rebar in coil.
