Chinese longs offers tumble further in late December

The Chinese long steel market has remained weak, and now major steel mills in eastern China have announced they will cut offer prices in late-December, Kallanish notes. According to the companies' information, Shagang will cut CNY 250/tonne ($36/t) from its rebar offers and CNY 300/t from high-speed wire rod and rebar in coil offers.
